The Connected for Health project aims to test health technology applications and develop remote services to the social welfare and health sector. The goal of the project is to collect information on how do fast communication networks (FTTH) create possibilities for patients’ home care as well as bring cost savings. To find the solution, four pilot projects have been taken place – two of them in Finland, one in Sweden and one in Denmark.
During next week an event will take place in Brussels to present the key findings and results from the project. An important and critical role is the infrastructure and the need for ultra fast broadband, FTTH. As a member of the Board of Directors, FTTH Council Europe Tobias Ahl will be speaking there as a passionate fibre promoter and also inhabitant in Sweden. See more about the project here.
